About Us
The research unit of Obstetrics and Reproduction in Animals (ORA) is a research unit that co-operates between the professional veterinary practitioners and researchers in Department of preclinical and clinical practice, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Over a period of 10 years, the ORA has continuously conducted basic and applied research in animal reproductive science (in companion and wildlife species), produced numerous national and international publications, of which funding has been granted from Chulalongkorn University and other Thai government agencies. Together with the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproduction, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University, the ORA is a leader in reproductive science educational programs and provides training to graduate students and post-doctoral researchers which continuously produce the high quality alumni.
In addition to internal networking, the ORA collaborates with other veterinary faculties, government agencies and private sector companies aimed to strengthen the links between the disciplines. To achieve the ultimate goal, the ORA will strongly emphasize the integration of knowledge linking companion animal and wildlife reproductive science to be recognized internationally in the future.
